  • Pencil and pen
  • Any colouring tools you like
  • A small timer or phone timer

How to Run the 100-Day Drawing Challenge

  1. Get a dedicated sketchbook — number pages 1–100 before you start. Seeing the blank pages ahead is motivating.
  2. Set a timer for 6 minutes — this keeps each session short enough to never skip but long enough to make something real.
  3. Pick a theme for each week — Week 1: animals. Week 2: food. Week 3: vehicles. Themes prevent blank-page paralysis.
  4. Draw ANYTHING in those 6 minutes — a quick sketch, a detailed study, a cartoon. The rule is: something on paper before the timer ends.
  5. Date every drawing — write the day number and date at the bottom of each page.
  6. No erasing, no starting over — commit to finishing what you start. Imperfect drawings are part of the process.
  7. On Day 100, compare Day 1 to Day 100 — the progression is the reward.
