  3. Find the outline — pick out an interesting outline shape from the scribble and make that the monster's body, boldening that line.
  4. Add eyes — place eyes wherever the scribble suggests them — there could be one, two, or ten!
  5. Add a mouth — find a spot for a mouth, maybe using a loop from the scribble as a grin.
  6. Turn loops into features — use the leftover scribble loops as arms, legs, horns, antennae, or a tail.
  7. Tidy and outline — go over your chosen monster lines in pen and erase the leftover scribble.
