The AI Adventures course teaches that there are two types of people in the AI era: users and builders. Users consume AI. Builders make things with it. Here are 7 projects that turn you into a builder — without needing to write a single line of code.
Project 1: Your Own Custom AI Chatbot
What: Create a ChatGPT custom GPT with a specific personality and knowledge
How: Open ChatGPT → Explore GPTs → Create a GPT → Give it a name, photo, instructions and personality
Ideas: "A homework helper for Year 5," "A quiz master for Harry Potter fans," "A creative writing coach for young authors"
Time: 30-45 minutes
Project 2: AI Art Gallery
What: Generate a themed collection of AI artwork around a topic you love
How: Use Adobe Firefly (free), Canva AI (free) or DALL-E in ChatGPT
Ideas: "Magical underwater cities," "Animals dressed as scientists," "Future schools in space"
Display: Print them, make a slideshow, or create a Google Sites page
Time: 1 hour
Project 3: AI-Powered Quiz for Your Friends
What: Use ChatGPT to generate quiz questions, then build the quiz in Kahoot or Google Forms
How: Prompt ChatGPT: "Create 10 multiple-choice quiz questions about [topic] for 10-year-olds, with 4 options each and the correct answer marked." Copy into Kahoot.
Time: 45 minutes
Project 4: AI Storybook
What: Write a short illustrated story where every page has AI-generated art
How: Write the story with ChatGPT → Generate images for each scene with Canva AI or DALL-E → Combine in Canva or PowerPoint
Time: 2 hours
Project 5: AI Song + Video
What: Write lyrics with ChatGPT, make the music with Suno, make a video with Pika or CapCut
How: Prompt ChatGPT for lyrics → Paste into Suno with style description → Use Pika to generate 4-second clips to match the verses
Time: 2-3 hours
Project 6: AI Study Guide for Any School Topic
What: Generate a complete visual study guide for any school topic
How: Ask ChatGPT to create: timeline, key terms with definitions, 10 quiz questions, a summary, and 3 fun facts. Paste into Canva and design it nicely.
Share: Share with your class — they will love you for it
Time: 1 hour
Project 7: AI Activity Pack for Younger Kids
What: Create a printable activity pack for kids younger than you
How: Use ChatGPT to generate puzzles, colouring instructions, word searches and stories. Use Canva to design and layout.

The Builder Mindset
After each project, ask: "Who else would find this useful? How could I improve it? Could I teach someone else to make one?" That is the mindset that turns a project into a skill — and eventually into something much bigger.
