Thanos — the Mad Titan — has a distinct look: large jaw, purple skin, heavy armour, and a determined expression. Parikshet simplifies the anatomy into easy shapes so kids aged 8 and above can draw him confidently.

🖍️ What You Need

  • Pencil and eraser
  • Purple marker or pencil
  • Gold/yellow marker (for armour)
  • Black pen for outlines

How to Draw Thanos Step by Step

  1. Draw the head — a wide, angular oval with a strong square jaw. Thanos's chin has a distinctive vertical crease — add a line down the middle of the chin.
  2. Add the face — small, deep-set eyes under a heavy brow. A broad, flat nose and a serious, tight-lipped expression.
  3. Draw the neck and shoulders — a very thick neck leading into massive, squared-off shoulders.
  4. Sketch the torso — a barrel-shaped chest in his blue-gold armour. Add chest plate details and shoulder armour pieces.
  5. Draw the arms — huge, muscular arms. Add armour plating on the forearms.
  6. Add the Infinity Gauntlet — on his left hand, draw the gauntlet with six coloured stones.
  7. Colour — purple-grey skin, deep blue and gold armour, glowing stones in the gauntlet.
💡 Parikshet's Tip: Thanos's head is wider than it is tall — about 1.3:1 width to height ratio. If your Thanos looks too human, widen the jaw and lower face.
