Step-by-Step: Drawing a 3D Staircase

Step 1: Draw the First Step Top

Near the top-left of your paper, draw a parallelogram — a rectangle that leans diagonally to the right. This is the top surface of the first stair.

Step 2: Add the Front Face of Step 1

Below the right edge of the top surface, draw a straight vertical line down, then a horizontal line across — this creates the front face of the first stair as a plain rectangle.

Step 3: Repeat for Each Step

Continue the pattern going down and to the right: top surface (parallelogram leaning right) + front face (straight rectangle). Each step is the same size. Draw 5 to 7 steps descending diagonally from top-left to bottom-right.

Step 4: Connect the Left Side Wall
