A snowy story about a boy who builds a snowman so cheerful that even the cold morning feels warm.

The Story

The first snow had fallen overnight, and Parikshet pressed his face against the window. The whole garden was white, like a giant page waiting to be drawn on.

He put on his warmest jacket, his thickest gloves, and his fluffiest hat. Then he ran outside and scooped up the first ball of snow. It felt cold and squeaky in his hands.

He rolled the ball along the ground, and as it rolled, it got bigger and bigger. Soon it was as big as a beach ball. That became the body of his snowman.

Another smaller ball became the chest. A third, smallest ball became the head. He stacked them carefully — one, two, three. The snowman stood proud and tall in the garden.

He pushed in two coal pebbles for eyes, a carrot for the nose, and a curve of small stones for a wide smiling mouth. He wrapped his old red scarf around its neck.

Parikshet stepped back and clapped. "Hello, Mr Snowy," he said. Mr Snowy did not answer, but his smile was so big that the whole garden seemed to smile back.

🌟 The Moral

Sometimes the simplest things — snow, stones, a scarf — can be turned into the happiest creations of all.
