How do I draw an easy monkey for kids?
Start with a circle head and a lighter face area inside it, add two big round ears, friendly eyes and a smile, then a smaller body, long arms, legs and a curling tail. Simple circles make it easy.
What makes a drawing look like a monkey?
Long, bendy arms and a long curling tail are the giveaways. Add two big round ears on the sides of the head and a lighter heart-shaped face area, and it instantly reads as a monkey.
How do I colour a cartoon monkey?
Colour the main body and head brown, and use a lighter tan for the face, ears, hands and tummy. A touch of pink inside the ears adds a sweet, friendly finish.
How do I draw a monkey's tail?
Draw one long line looping out from the back of the body and curling at the end, like a question mark. A nice big curl makes the monkey look playful and ready to swing.
