The first episode in a little chef's adventure — making a fresh, crunchy salad without using any fire at all.
The Story
Parikshet had a big dream: he wanted to be a master chef. But there was one rule in his kitchen. "No fire," said Mum, "until you are much bigger."
At first, Parikshet was a little sad. How could he cook anything without a stove? Then his grandmother smiled and said, "Some of the best food in the world is made without any fire at all."
She showed him a basket of fresh vegetables — bright peppers, juicy tomatoes, a curly lettuce and a long green cucumber. "Today," she said, "we shall make a crunchy salad."
Parikshet washed everything in cool water. He tore the lettuce with his fingers, snapped the cucumber with a small knife, and squeezed half a lemon into a tiny cup. The kitchen smelled fresh and zingy.
He mixed everything in a wooden bowl and added a sprinkle of black pepper, just like a real chef. No fire. No smoke. Only colours, smells, and crunch.
When his family tasted it, they cheered. "Master Chef Parikshet," they all said. He bowed proudly and announced, "Episode One is complete. Many more coming soon."
🌟 The Moral

What to Look For
- Watch how Parikshet chops and prepares each vegetable — notice the different cutting techniques for different shapes of vegetables.
- Observe how the dressing is mixed separately before being added — this distributes flavour evenly throughout the salad.

- Notice how the finished salad is arranged to look appealing — presentation matters even in simple cooking!
