The Monster Strawberry is a fun paper-folding craft where a plain drawing of a strawberry transforms into a silly monster face when you fold it. Parikshet shows you how to draw and fold your own version — a great activity that combines drawing with origami-style fun.

🖍️ What You Need

  • White paper (A4)
  • Red and green markers or crayons
  • Black pen
  • Scissors (optional for trimming)

How to Make the Monster Strawberry Folding Surprise

  1. Draw a large strawberry — a wide heart shape (pointed at the bottom, rounded at the top) filling most of your paper.
  2. Add the green leafy top — spiky leaf shapes at the top of the strawberry.
  3. Draw dots on the strawberry — small seed dots scattered across the red surface.
  4. Fold the paper horizontally — fold the bottom third of the paper up, covering the bottom of the strawberry.
  5. On the fold, draw a monster mouth — teeth, tongue, and lips right on the fold line, so when folded up the strawberry appears to have a biting mouth.
  6. Draw monster eyes on the fold-up section — wild googly eyes above the mouth on the fold.
  7. The reveal — unfolded, it looks like a normal strawberry. Folded up, it is a monster!
💡 Parikshet's Tip: Place the monster eyes just above the fold line and the teeth right on the fold line — this makes the monster face appear and disappear perfectly as you fold and unfold.
