Step-by-Step: Drawing a Dinosaur With Number 7 For
Step 1: Draw the Body
Draw a large rounded oval for the dinosaur's body, slightly tilted with the front end a little higher than the back.
Step 2: Add the Neck and Head
From the upper-front of the body, draw a curved neck going upward, then draw a small oval head at the top. The neck should curve gently like a snake.
Step 3: Draw the Tail
From the back of the body, draw a long pointed tail that curves slightly downward. The tail should taper from wide at the body to a sharp point at the tip.
Step 4: Add the Face
On the head, draw a large round eye with a small pupil dot. Draw the mouth as a curved line along the lower part of the head — add small triangular teeth along the top jaw.
Step 5: Draw the Legs
Add four thick legs beneath the body — two in the front and two in the back. Each leg should bend slightly at the knee and end in a wide foot with three claw toes.
Step 6: Add the Arms (if T-Rex)
For a T-Rex style dinosaur, draw two very short, small arms near the front of the body. They should look tiny compared to the rest of the body.
Step 7: Draw Spines or Plates
Along the top of the back from neck to tail, draw a row of triangular spines or diamond-shaped plates. For a Stegosaurus, make the plates large and alternating.
Step 8: Add Scale Texture
Draw a row of small curved lines or dot patterns along the neck, body, and tail to suggest scaly skin.
Colouring Your Dinosaur With Number 7 For
