Step-by-Step: Drawing a Mbappe
Step 1: Sketch the Face Oval
Draw a slightly elongated oval for Mbappe's face. Add a centre line (vertical) and eye-level line (horizontal) as guides.
Step 2: Draw the Hair
Mbappe's hair is short and tight — draw it as a close-fitting cap of hair on top of the head, with clean edges along the temples and forehead. No long strands.
Step 3: Add the Eyes and Eyebrows
Draw two medium almond-shaped eyes on the eye-level line. Above each, draw a strong, slightly arched eyebrow — Mbappe has expressive, bold eyebrows.
Step 4: Draw the Nose
Draw a medium-sized nose with a rounded tip and defined nostrils. The bridge is straight and not too long.
Step 5: Add the Mouth and Smile
Draw Mbappe's wide, confident smile — a broad curve with both corners turned up. Show the top row of teeth as a bright white arc.
Step 6: Draw the Neck and Collar
Add a thick neck below the face. Draw the collar of his football jersey — a round or V-neck collar. Add the jersey number or a hint of the team badge.
Step 7: Add Shading to the Face
Use light pencil shading along the sides of the face and under the chin to give depth. Add a darker shadow under the nose and lips.
Step 8: Finish the Jersey
Complete the jersey shoulders and chest. Add the horizontal or stripe pattern of his team's jersey. Write the number 7 on the jersey.
Colouring Your Mbappe
Use dark brown skin tones — build up gradually with overlapping light pencil strokes. His jersey can be blue (France national team) or white-and-red (PSG). Add gold or white highlights on the eyes.
