The Enderman is one of Minecraft's most iconic and unsettling mobs — a tall, thin, black figure with purple glowing eyes that teleports and becomes hostile if you look at it. Its blocky Minecraft style actually makes it one of the simpler characters to draw accurately.

🖍️ What You Need

  • Pencil and eraser
  • Black marker
  • Purple marker for the eyes and particles
  • Dark grey for subtle shading

How to Draw Minecraft Enderman Step by Step

  1. Draw the head — a perfect square or slightly tall rectangle. Minecraft characters have cubic heads.
  2. Add the eyes — two narrow rectangular eyes, purple/magenta colour, slightly menacing angle.
  3. Draw the body — a tall, narrow rectangle below the head. The Enderman is very thin.
  4. Add the legs — two very long, thin rectangles extending far down. Enderman legs are disproportionately long.
  5. Draw the arms — extremely long, thin arms hanging down past the knees.
  6. Add the block it holds — Endermen often carry a dirt or grass block. Draw a small cube in one hand.
  7. Add the purple particle effects — small diamond or asterisk shapes floating around the body.
  8. Colour entirely black — with purple eyes and particles. Add very subtle dark purple shading on one side.
💡 Parikshet's Tip: The Enderman's proportions are deliberately extreme — exaggerate the long limbs even more than feels right. If the legs don't look almost comically long, make them longer.
