How to Draw Rainbow Friends Pink: Step-by-Step for Kids

Grab your pencil and let's draw together with Parikshet — Pink from Rainbow Friends, the creepy spider-like monster that moves on many legs!

What You'll Need

  • Pencil (HB or 2B)
  • Eraser
  • White paper
  • Black marker
  • Coloured pencils or crayons (pink, dark pink, black, white)

Step-by-Step: Drawing Rainbow Friends Pink

Step 1: Draw the Round Body

Pink looks like a large spider. Start with a large circle in the centre of your paper for the main body. Make it fairly big — about the size of your fist on the paper.

Step 2: Add a Smaller Head Circle

On top of the body circle (overlapping slightly), draw a smaller circle for the head. The head is about half the size of the body.

Step 3: Draw Two Large Eyes

On the head circle, draw two large round eyes side by side. Each eye has a white circle, a pink iris inside, and a small black pupil. Pink's eyes are round and wide — she looks surprised and a little eerie.

Step 4: Add a Small Smile

Below the eyes, draw a small curved smile. Unlike the other Rainbow Friends, Pink has a gentler expression — but still creepy because of the spider legs.

Step 5: Draw Six Spider Legs

This is the most important step for Pink! From the sides and bottom of the body circle, draw six long, thin, bent legs — three on each side. Each leg bends at one joint (like a real spider leg) — they go outward, then bend downward. Make the legs long and spindly.

Step 6: Add Leg Tips

At the end of each of the six legs, add a small rounded tip or claw. This gives each leg a finished look and makes Pink's legs look pointy like a spider's.

Step 7: Outline and Finalize

Go over all lines with a black marker. Make the body and head outlines bold. The spider legs should be drawn with clean, confident strokes. Erase pencil guidelines.

Colouring Your Rainbow Friends Pink

Colour the entire body and head in bright pink. The eye irises are slightly darker pink or magenta. The legs can be slightly darker pink than the body. Shade the underside of the body darker for a rounded, 3D look.

Parikshet's Tips

  • The six spider legs are Pink's signature — draw them long and spindly with a clear bend at the joint.
  • Space the legs evenly — three on the left side and three on the right side of the body.
  • Practice makes perfect!
