  6. Keep watching for 5 to 10 minutes as all the colours drift through — each moving at a slightly different speed.

The Science Behind It

The shaving foam acts like a real cloud — it holds water droplets. As more and more food colouring accumulates in the foam, it eventually becomes heavy enough to break through and fall. This is exactly how real rain works: water vapour builds up in clouds until the droplets become heavy enough to fall as rain drops. The colours fall at different rates because they have slightly different densities.
