🎨 What You Need

  • White paper or sketchbook
  • HB pencil and rubber
  • Black fineliner
  • Colouring pencils — orange, red, green, brown, pink

How to Draw Orange and Watermelon Lollies

  1. Two rounded rectangles — draw two upright rounded-rectangles side by side, lolly-sized.
  2. Add the sticks — a thin rectangle poking out of the bottom of each lolly.
  3. Orange lolly details — on the first one, draw a curved line across the top to suggest the orange peel.
  4. Watermelon details — on the second, draw a green curved strip along the bottom for the rind.
  5. Add the seeds — small black teardrops scattered across the watermelon section.
  6. Orange segments — draw a few curved lines across the orange lolly to suggest pulp.
  7. Add bite marks (optional) — a wavy missing chunk on one corner for a half-eaten look.
  8. Colour — bright orange and red/pink, with green rind and brown sticks.
