How to Draw a Bowling Pin Step by Step

  1. Step 1 — Draw a small circle near the top of your page — this is the head of the pin.
  2. Step 2 — Just below the circle, draw a narrow neck using two short curved lines pinching inward.
  3. Step 3 — From the neck, sweep two curved lines outward and downward to make a wide rounded belly.
  4. Step 4 — At the bottom, bring the lines back inward slightly to make a flat base.
  5. Step 5 — Around the neck of the pin, draw two thin curved bands that wrap right around — these are the famous red stripes.
  6. Step 6 — Outline the pin in black marker and rub out any pencil marks.
  7. Step 7 — Colour the two stripes bright red, leaving the rest of the pin white.
  8. Step 8 — Add a soft grey shadow on the left side of the pin and a small grey shadow puddle under it on the floor.
