How to Draw a Valentine Envelope for Mum

  1. Use your ruler to draw a large rectangle in the centre of the paper. This will be the front of the envelope.
  2. On the top edge of the rectangle, draw a wide triangle pointing upwards. That is the envelope flap.
  3. Add two smaller triangles on the left and right sides, meeting in the middle, so the envelope looks closed.
  4. Draw a big heart in the centre where the flap meets the body — this is the wax seal.
  5. Decorate the front of the envelope with tiny hearts, swirls and the word MUM in pretty letters.
  6. Add a thin border around the rectangle to make it look like a real envelope edge.
  7. Outline everything with your fine-liner, then erase your pencil lines.
  8. Colour the envelope pink, the seal red and the borders gold. Add glitter or stickers for extra sparkle.
