Step-by-Step: Drawing a Pig Face Emoji
Step 1: Draw the Face Circle
Draw a large, perfect circle in the centre of your page. This will be the emoji face — make it big so there's room for the expression details.
Step 2: Add the Eye Shapes
Draw two medium oval or circle eyes in the upper-centre of the face, evenly spaced. For smart emoji, make them slightly angled — tilted outward at the top.
Step 3: Draw the Glasses
For the 'smart' emoji (nerd face), draw rectangular or rounded glasses frames around the eyes. Add the nose bridge — a small curved line connecting the two frames. Add tiny circles for the hinges.
Step 4: Add the Mouth and Teeth
Draw a wide, open smile showing the top and bottom rows of teeth. The top teeth should be a row of small rectangles; add a pink curved area for the mouth interior.
Step 5: Draw the Eyebrows
Above each eye (or above the glasses), draw two short, straight-ish lines for eyebrows. Tilt them slightly upward in the middle for a brainy look.
Step 6: Add Rosy Cheeks
On each side of the face, draw a small circle for a blush spot. Keep it light — just a gentle curve of colour.
Step 7: Detail the Eyes Behind Glasses
Inside the glasses frames, add pupils (small black circles) and white-space highlights to make the eyes look sparkly. Emojis have very shiny eyes.
Step 8: Add the Yellow Face Colour
Shade the entire face circle with bright yellow. The whites of the eyes and teeth stay white. The inside of the mouth is pink.
Colouring Your Pig Face Emoji
The classic emoji yellow should be bright and even — use a yellow coloured pencil with good pressure. Add orange shading around the edges of the face for depth. Glasses can be black or dark brown.
Tips from Parikshet
- Emojis are all about bold, clear features — don't be afraid to make the eyes and mouth bigger than feels natural!
- Add a small shadow at the bottom of the face circle to make it look like a 3D ball.
- Practice makes perfect — try drawing it again tomorrow!
