Step-by-Step: Drawing a Swan

Step 1: Draw the Body Arc

Draw a large, smooth, tear-drop shape leaning slightly to the right — wider at the back and coming to a gentle point at the front. This is the swan's body floating on water.

Step 2: Add the Long Neck

From the front-left of the body, draw a long, graceful S-curved line going upward, then arching back to the right. The neck should be elegant and flowing.

Step 3: Draw the Head

At the top of the neck, draw a small oval for the swan's head. The head should be small compared to the neck.

Step 4: Add the Beak

On the right side of the head, draw a pointed oval beak that narrows to a tip. Draw a thin curved line through the middle to separate the top and bottom of the beak. Add a small circle near the top for the nostril.

Step 5: Draw the Eye and Crown

Place a small oval eye on the head. Above and behind the eye, draw a small oval bump — the swan's head crest. Add a tiny dot inside the eye for the pupil.
