- Draw a tall narrow rectangle that curves at the bottom to form an L shape — this is the stocking.
- Add a thick fluffy cuff at the top of the stocking, slightly wider than the body.
- Inside the cuff, sketch a small puppy face with two floppy ears hanging over the sides.
- Add round puppy eyes, a small triangle nose and a happy tongue sticking out.
- Draw one tiny paw resting on the edge of the stocking cuff.
- Decorate the stocking body with stars, candy canes or holly leaves.
- Outline everything with a black marker for bold Christmas card style.
- Colour the stocking red, the cuff and paw white, the puppy light brown and add green holly with red berries.
