Step-by-Step: Drawing a Christmas Tree

Step 1: Draw the Trunk

Near the bottom centre of your page, draw a short, wide rectangle for the trunk. This is the wooden base — simple and brown.

Step 2: Draw Three Triangle Tiers

Above the trunk, draw three stacked triangles getting larger as they go down. The top triangle is smallest; the bottom one is widest. Each triangle overlaps the one below slightly — creating the classic stepped Christmas tree shape.

Step 3: Make the Edges Jagged

Go back along all three triangles and make the outer edges zigzag with small bumps to suggest pine needle branches. The bottom edge of each tier should look like a fringe of pine branches.

Step 4: Draw the Star on Top
