🌟 Did You Know?
Mario first appeared way back in 1981 in the game 'Donkey Kong', where he was originally called 'Jumpman'! He was made a plumber with a moustache and cap partly because of the limits of early game graphics — the moustache saved having to draw a mouth, the cap saved drawing hair, and the big nose made his face clear on tiny old screens. Mario is now the mascot of Nintendo and has starred in hundreds of games.
