Lay out everything before you start. Crafts go a lot smoother when you are not hunting for the glue with sticky hands. Watch the video once first, then pause at each step and copy along.

Take your time with the cutting. Slow scissors give clean edges, and clean edges make the final piece look ten times nicer. If a cut goes wrong, do not worry, you can usually trim around it.

Tips that make a difference

  • Use a glue stick for paper-on-paper and liquid glue only for small joints. Liquid glue can warp paper if you use too much.

  4. To ignite by hand: select flint and steel, right-click the TNT, and run. You have about 4 seconds before it detonates. Do not look back — look for cover.
  5. The explosion radius of one TNT block is about 4 blocks in all directions. Multiple connected TNT blocks chain-react and create much larger explosions.
  6. In survival mode, stay at least 10 blocks from the explosion or it will deal significant damage even through full iron armour.
  7. After the explosion, check the crater for ores that were exposed by the blast — TNT is an extremely fast mining tool when used correctly.
