How to Draw a Folding Surprise Candy Corn Monster

  1. Fold your paper into three equal horizontal sections like a letter. Open it back up so you can see the fold lines.
  2. In the top section, draw a candy corn shape — a tall triangle with rounded edges. Colour the bottom yellow, middle orange and tip white.
  3. Add two big friendly eyes near the top of the candy corn and a closed zigzag mouth across the middle fold line.
  4. Now fold the paper closed again. On the inside (the hidden middle section), draw the monster mouth wide open with sharp teeth and a long curly tongue.
  5. Add scary details inside — bloodshot eyes, drool drops and small fangs around the edges.
  6. Outline both the outside candy corn and inside monster with fine-liner.
  7. Erase pencil marks, then colour the inside in dark purple, red and white for a creepy contrast.
  8. Open and close the paper to reveal the surprise monster every time.
