Step-by-Step: Drawing a Snowman

Step 1: Draw the Bottom Snowball

Draw a large circle at the bottom of your paper — this is the snowman's base. It should be the biggest of the three circles.

Step 2: Add the Middle Snowball

Directly above and slightly overlapping the first circle, draw a medium-sized circle for the body. It should be about two-thirds the size of the bottom ball.

Step 3: Draw the Head

Above the middle circle, draw a third, smaller circle for the snowman's head. All three circles should line up in a slight vertical stack.

Step 4: Add the Face

On the head, draw two small filled circles for the eyes, and five smaller dots in a curve for the smile. Add an orange or yellow carrot nose — a small triangle pointing to the right.

Step 5: Draw the Hat

On top of the head, draw a rectangle for the hat brim (a thin, wide rectangle), then a taller, narrower rectangle above it for the hat top. Add a small strip of colour for a hatband.

Step 6: Add the Scarf

At the junction between the head and body, draw a wavy rectangle wrapping around the neck — the scarf. Let one end hang down casually to the side.
